MEDFORD, Ore (September 15, 2014) With eight of the nine rounds complete, FMF/RPM/KTM’s and Motorcycle Superstore Bell Helmet Support Rider Travis Coy has clinched the World Off-Road Championship Series Pro 2 Class Championship.

Coy has been a dominate force in the WORCS Pro 2 class all year with five first place finishes and two seconds.
It was a scorcher this weekend at Glen Helen with temperatures reaching the 110 degree range making the two hour race even more of a survival event which took its toll on both riders motorcycles.
“Racing in that heat was not the most fun thing in the world but we hung in there for the finish. I ran wide in the second turn and stuffed the front end and crashed in some soft dirt. I was able to work my way back up to third by the end of the first lap. It took a few laps but I was able to run down second and make the pass. First place was gone so I just started thinking championship and rode smooth and conservative for the remainder of the race. It’s great to win the championship a round early.”
