Factory Beta/Stillwell Performance-backed Cody Webb is on track to take the 2014 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship this coming Saturday in Ontario, California. He holds a 13 point lead over Rockstar/Lucas Oil/JCR Honda’s Colton Haaker and a 15 point cushion on Factory Red Bull KTM’s Taddy Blazusiak, the five time and defending champion. But EnduroCross is very unpredictable so the title is still on the line.
If Haaker has a perfect night and collects the bonus points from winning his heat race and setting the fast time during the hot laps, Webb can still clinch the title with a seventh place finish. For Blazusiak to take a sixth EnduroCross Championship on Saturday, he would need to score maximum points and have Webb finish ninth or worse. Webb’s worst finish this season is a third and that is the reason he has the upper hand coming into the finale.

“My night in Boise really couldn’t have gone any better for me. I won my heat race giving me an extra point towards the championship and nearly won the pole position, but made two small mistakes to barely finish behind Haaker. I felt confident all day on my Beta 300, even in the sub freezing temperatures. I put myself in good contention off the start of the main event and just clicked off 12 consistent laps. Never pushed more than I needed to and kept my composure when Colton came in hot behind me on the last lap before he made a mistake. Giving me my third win on the season with one round left next weekend in Ontario.”
Cody has Attracted some of the Top “Crazy” European Extreme off Road Riders to come over from Italy and Germany to compete at these final two rounds.
